Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Waldo Web Design really charge?

I really do charge only $50 per hour. I expect that at some point, I’ll have to raise prices, but if you have a project underway when I do, you are locked into the original rate. Also, I don’t round up to the amount I bill. I calculate the cost to the minute in order to be completely fair.

How does Waldo Web Design bill me for my project?

I will send you a bill via e-mail in PDF (Acrobat Reader) format. If necessary, I can also drop it in the mail.

How do I make a payment?

Currently, you need to send a check payable to Waldo Web Design, LLC. We also have a PayPal™ account set up for you to be able to make payments online.

Does Waldo Web Design charge anything for e-mail consultations?

Absolutely not. In fact, I don’t charge for the clerical work involved with your project either, including e-mails, filing, phone calls or setting up your web hosting account.

What if I have a specific budget for my project?

If you have to avoid exceeding a certain amount, please let me know. I always work pretty quickly and will stretch your dollars as far as they can go. I will also notify you when you are within two hours of reaching that limit. To further save you money, I can show you how to do some of the work yourself.

What is your cancellation or refunds policy?

If at any time you need to end the project, I will bill you for the hours worked. If you just need to delay the project, I am certainly willing to work with your timetable. At each stage of the project process, I get your sign off. In the extremely unlikely case that you express total dissatisfaction and want me off your project, you will only be billed up to the last stage that you signed off on. Files I created for you up to the last stage you signed off on will be e-mailed to you.
